How long have you been doing makeup?

I have been doing makeup for ten years as of November 2009.  I started in high school doing stage work for the theatre department but found I really enjoyed working on girls for homecoming and the prom, too!

Do you have experience with multiple lines?

Yes.  I've worked in a professional capacity with MAC Cosmetics and my kit has included pretty much any brand of cosmetic you can think of over the years!  I pride myself on being able to shade-match and find product equivalencies across many different brands.

Do you do special effects makeup?

I do.  If you are interested in a special effect makeup for Halloween or another event, you can schedule a consultation so we can develop the right look for your needs.

Do you love doing makeup?  What's the best part of your job?

I adore doing makeup.  It never gets tiresome and there's no such thing as a mistake - you can explore, create and mess up endlessly and you're never more than a wipe away from a blank slate.  I think the best part of this job is that I can provide so many people with education about the products they use every day, teach them new and unexpected ways to use the products they already own, and empower every client I work with to be fearless and bold in their approach to beauty.  Never be scared of makeup, it's not permanent!
